How It Works
Daily Energy (Wh):totalDailyEnergy=∑(quantity×wattage×hours)
Then we multiply by a 1.3 safety factor and by the days of autonomy.
Peak Load (W):peakLoad=∑(quantity×wattage)
Then we multiply by a 1.3 safety factor and round up to the nearest 100 W to get the inverter size.
Battery Sizing:
Battery capacity (Wh) for one battery = batteryCapacity (Ah)×batteryVoltage (V)
Required total battery capacity (Wh) = totalDailyEnergy×daysOfAutonomy
Number of batteries = Required Battery Wh/Single Battery Wh
Panel Sizing (simplified):
Each panel produces panelWattage×sunHours.
Number of panels = Required Battery Wh/(panelWattage×sunHours)
